I wanted to create a design with a star or a snowflake but it just wasn't turning out right. When I began painting these poinsettias I took a look back and noticed they actually looked like stars!! These are stars in disguise!! I love the analogy, that we can also be a star in our own little garden and we shine with the light of One who spoke in the beginning and wrote a song deep within hearts.
 
These poinsettias are hand painted in watercolor accented with gold details. The ribbon is handmade from silk and lovingly tied one by one.
